How It Works

The system uses a Python script with OpenCV and a webcam to monitor the parking area. It identifies which parking spots are currently free and calculates the closest available one based on the user’s agenda or planned destination.

Once a parking spot number is selected, the robot car automatically follows a black line on the floor using infrared (IR) sensors to navigate through the parking layout. When it reaches the assigned spot, it performs the final parking maneuver autonomously.

I handled the robot hardware, embedded programming, motor control, and navigation logic. My teammates built the vision system and the environment setup.

How It Works

Each helmet uses the phone’s stereo cameras for AR vision. Floating trash appears in the digital scene and reacts to the music around you.

When players successfully throw real objects into the trash-bin helmet, an Arduino sensor system detects it and triggers festival-style lighting around both helmets, rewarding recycling in real life.

The AR interface includes a game-style navigation compass that uses geolocation data from the phone to help you find:
• your teammate wearing the other helmet
• key festival places (e.g. McDonald's 😄)

To raise awareness of alcohol consumption, the AR visuals become increasingly distorted as the user drinks more, simulating the gradual loss of perception caused by intoxication.

I developed the full trash-bin detection and reactive lighting system in Arduino, built the AR stereo camera and geolocation-based navigation compass, and contributed to the floating trash interaction features in Unity.

How It Works

A sonar distance sensor lets the robot avoid obstacles and explore its environment autonomously. When an object or person approaches from behind, or tries to “bully” it by covering its sensors. The Arduino triggers a defensive emotional reaction: faster movement, red warning LEDs, and escape behavior.

The goal of the project was to express personality and emotion through motion and light instead of facial expressions, making the robot feel alive.

I handled the entire build: mechanical design, character concept, Arduino programming, motor control, and behavior logic.

How It Works

The task: design an A0 poster about AI’s impact on society and the graphic profession. I chose to express the dual nature of AI: playful creativity vs. invisible threats. The cats represent friendly, appealing AI outputs, while the skull warns of ethical concerns, misinformation, and loss of control.

Exhibited as part of the 3sec.gallery Student Challenge 2023, and also featured as the main project image on their website.
